My Bengal of Gold, I love you
我が黄金のBengalよ、私はあなたを愛します


chirodin tomar akash, tomar batas
amar prane bajay banshi

Your sky and wind always send me the tune of flute
いつもあなたの空、あなたの風が、私の心に笛の音を響かせます

In spring, oh mother mine, the fragrance from your mango groves
 makes me wild with joy. Ah what a thrill !
早春には、母よ、あなたのmango畑に、いい香りが満ち溢れます。
なんとすばらしい！

ami ki dekhechhi modhur hasi

In autumn, oh mother mine, in the full blossomed paddy fields
I have seen spread all over sweet smiles.
晩秋には、母よ、豊かに稔ったあなたの大地に、
私は、あなたの微笑みを見ます

Ah, what a beauty, shades, an affection, and a tenderness !
what a quilt have you spread at the feet of Banyan trees
and along the banks of rivers !
Oh mother mine, words from your lips are like nectar to my ears
美しい景色、さわやかな樹蔭、豊かな愛情、深い悲しみ
なんと美しい衣で、Banyan樹の下や川辺を、覆っているのでしょう
母よ、あなたの言葉は、天の飲み物のように、やさしく響きます
なんと素晴らしい

eyes are filled with tears !
